land-rover’s-driving-experiences-are-tailored-for-everyone-and-surprisingly-affordable

Land Rover manufactures some of the world’s most recognizable and desirable SUVs. Almost anyone heard at least once about the Range Rover, the Discovery, or the Range Rover Evoque. The latter was tailored for a more feminine audience, hence the connection with Victoria Beckham. But all this pedigree and an impressive global reputation don’t come cheap. Fret not; there’s a much cheaper way to discover what Land Rover’s rides are all about.

Land Rover is an off-road and luxury icon. There’s no denying that. However, one issue that continues to plague this name is poor reliability. Customers who can comfortably afford these amazing machines don’t care very much about dependability, but it’s an important theme for the rest of us. Not many people can deal with hefty repair bills that might become too frequent.

The Indian-owned British automaker anticipated that people and even entities might want to have a taste before enjoying the full meal. So, it created multiple driving experiences.

The most affordable one is the one-hour drive, which costs anywhere from $275 to $295. You get one SUV that can be shared with up to two friends or family members. The cost includes a drink and an instructor who will help you navigate the challenging course. Although short, participants receive a certificate of completion to remind them about the event.

Not a fan of the latest and greatest? Don’t worry! Land Rover thought of that, too. That’s why it created the half-day and full-day heritage experiences. Choose your preferred vintage SUV and go on a ride with two of your closest friends. No, there won’t be any babying involved. The driving happens on an off-road trail. Depending on your choice, you’re looking at a minimum cost of $1,200 and $1,650 tops.

Are you planning on adventuring off the beaten path or becoming a member of a group specializing in playing where AAA can’t come to your help? Well, you can learn from the best! Land Rover’s Advanced Driving Program costs $1,200, lasts for a day, and includes an instructor who will ensure you’re going to become a pro.

A day isn’t enough? Well, here is some good news: the coaching session can be extended to two days. It’ll cost you $2,400, but you’ll be doing around 12 hours of driving.

The British marque also prepared exclusive experiences for Land Rover owners who are ready to take their vehicles out in the wild. Besides that, it has programs tailored to companies who want to repay their best employees with an exclusive experience.

Previously, the automaker organized family-oriented drive events and special sessions for teens. Sadly, those two programs are currently suspended. They should return, though! The world is back to normal, and many people would certainly love to bond over such activities.

No matter what you decide, remember that Land Rover has three experience centres in the US: California, North Carolina, and Vermont. Ask where the event is held before making a booking.

Finally, if you’re not too fond of spending a few hours or a day behind a Land Rover’s steering wheel by yourself, someone else might! It could be the perfect gift for a person you like or admire. Just make sure they have the time to go and have some fun. You wouldn’t want to waste such a present on someone who doesn’t enjoy driving or being out of the office on a workday.
