October is here, the rains are coming and the Land Rover Uganda Club will be hosting our very good friends and partner Club, Bundu Rovers Club from Kenya. They are here for 3 days and will be driving through Eastern Uganda to our primary destination, Jinja.
We are driving with a cause though, and this time we are supporting St. Francis Hospital, Buluba located in Mayuge district. Read about it more here#
We are contributing to some of their hospital needs and will continue whenever we can, as a Club (in partnership with Bundu Rovers Club in Kenya), even after the event. Part of your membership fees and any charges, personal contributions, sales of merchandise or any income to the Club go to causes such as these. This is one of our objectives as a Club. You are free to contribute anything in kind or cash.
We shall start our drive all the way from Malaba border and drive through to Tororo then to get off to Nagongera road, continue through Busolwe and join Tirinyi road at Namutumba. We then head on to Iganga and branch off and head to St. Francis Hospital, Buluba in Mayuge district (about 31kms from Iganga).
From there, we will continue on to Jinja, our main destination for adventure with lots of sightseeing and off-road driving wherever possible.
